Contact brighten.video
If Auto brighten left a clip murky, washed it out or uncovered more grain than you expected, or if there’s something you’d like the tool to do, write to us. The site has no form and no live chat; a short email reaches a real person.

What to write about
- A result that looks wrong. Say which quick fix you chose (Night video, Dim room, Backlit or Slightly dark), the Strength, and what bothers you: crushed shadows, blotchy noise, colours that drift, a preview that doesn’t match the export. Describe the scene rather than attaching the clip; we never need your footage.
- Files and exports. A video that won’t open or an export that stops, with the browser, device and file type.
- Ideas. A control you’d like under More options, a new quick fix, or an app you’d like a guide for.
- Press, including how exposure is lifted in linear light on your own graphics chip.
- Privacy requests. Footage never leaves your device, so there is very little on our side; for anything set out on the privacy page, including analytics, use this address.
Hearing back
brighten.video is an independent, self-funded project, so we don’t work to a reply deadline. Every message gets read, and bug reports with clear steps are usually the first to be fixed.

The home page FAQ covers quality, uploads and noise. For very dark footage, the night video page explains what can and can’t be recovered, and why a video comes out too dark walks through the usual causes.
